Your members should be able to get a 'taste' of your website. You could do this by using the interest function. Each member has a one-time opportunity to show interest for free. The interest will be delivered as a private message to your member. Members can show interest in both free and paying members.

Free members can see the interest notification. A paid membership is mandatory in order to respond. Your members will be notified of this when they open the interest notification. This will get you more paying members. Want free members to be able to respond? That would be no problem.
